Adult performer Alex Jett on Wednesday submitted a formal request for a restraining order against Robert Moran, alleging the 101 Modeling founder told mutual acquaintances that he planned to hire someone to murder him.
The legal document—filed in the Superior Court of California and obtained by PornCrush—also alleges that Moran harassed Jett by anonymously placing a late-night call to the Los Angeles Police Department on Feb. 23 and requesting they go to Jett’s apartment and perform a wellness check, even though Jett was fine and no such action was needed.
Reached on Wednesday by phone, Jett told PornCrush he didn’t learn who made the call until weeks later, when a friend contacted him and said Moran was bragging to others about pulling the prank.
“If he’s talking about killing me, then killing me is definitely on his mind,” Jett told PornCrush. “I don’t want him anywhere near me. He’s proven himself to be an unhinged, violent person.”
A hearing has been set for April 13 at 8:30 a.m. at the Van Nuys Courthouse East.
Jett’s allegations against Moran mark the continuation of a troubling trend for the controversial agent, whose future in the adult industry was already in question.
Former 101 model Lilith Grace accused Moran of raping her in a Las Vegas hotel room in January of 2025 while she was intoxicated. Later that year, in November, model Tess Thompson said Moran did the same thing to her at a Huntington Beach hotel after buying her numerous rounds of alcohol at a nearby bar. Both accusations were covered in detail by PornCrush.
On Jan. 23, Grace and Thompson filed a petition with California’s Department of Labor and Standards Enforcement (DLSE) that called for 101 Modeling’s license to be revoked and for Moran to be barred from ever working as an agent again in California. Attorney Jim Felton, who is representing Thompson and Grace, said a court date in that case has not been set.
Moran’s image took another hit late Tuesday night when Danny Frost—a former recruiter for 101 who also ran the agency’s social media channels—unleashed a flurry of posts on X that painted a picture of an agency in turmoil and called into question not only the character of Moran, but also that of 101 booking agent Fran Amidor.
Frost’s posts prompted numerous reactions from current and former 101 models, as well as from Brian Berke, who founded the agency with Moran more than a decade ago. Berke is now the owner of Florida-based AMA Models, and the two agents “share” performers, with Berke booking California-based 101 talent when they’re in Florida, and Moran doing the same for AMA girls when they travel to Los Angeles.
Berke tweeted Wednesday that he has ended his association with 101 Modeling. And multiple models have left the agency this week as 101's reputation continues to spiral.
Jett’s accusations against Moran are particularly troubling.
A former member of 101’s talent stable, Jett ended his friendship with Moran in May of 2021 when the agent became aggressive during what was supposed to be a playful wrestling match and broke Jett’s collarbone.
During the past year, Jett was vocal on social media in the aftermath of the alleged rapes of Grace and Thompson, urging performers to stay away from 101 Modeling and reminding them of Moran’s disturbing history.
Last fall, he posted a screenshot of a DM from former 101 booking agent Bud Lee that he considered threatening.
“You should stop and think about who might get hit with shrapnel,” Lee wrote.
Jett said he hasn’t seen or spoken to Moran since their physical altercation in May of 2021. He said he believes Moran blames him for most of the negativity surrounding the agency—but he never expected Moran’s bitterness to escalate to a level of harassment.
Jett said he was watching television just past 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 when he was alarmed by a knock on his front door. He said two uniformed police officers entered his apartment and told him someone had called expressing concern for his health and well-being. The officers, Jett said, didn’t tell him who placed the call.
“I’m not sure they even knew,” he said.
Jett assured the officers he was fine, and they departed.
Then last week, Jett received a call from a friend saying they overheard Moran making phone calls to unknown persons, asking them if they’d be willing to kill Jett for an undisclosed amount of money. Moran also bragged about making the February swatting call to police that prompted their visit to Jett’s apartment.
Asked by PornCrush if he thought the murder-for-hire narrative was simply an example of Moran “joking around,” Jett scoffed.
“No, I think it’s credible,” he said. “I can’t ignore something like this. He thinks I’m behind all of this negativity and that he needs to retaliate.
“I legitimately believe he thinks he could find someone and pay them to murder me. Or who knows, he could have a gun and come to my house and do it himself. He knows his time (in the industry) is limited, so he doesn’t care.”
Jett, 35, believes his social media posts evoked an anger in Moran that “caused him to become obsessed with me.”
“The reality is that I’m not behind anything. I just warned people that he’s dangerous and violent and not to be alone with him. Those are just safety precautions for our industry.
“I haven’t done anything to Robert, ever. Literally, not ever.”
Moran did not return a text message from PornCrush seeking comment.
