RESEDA, Calif. — The call from an industry cameraman came around 10 a.m. Friday morning, as Austin King was wiring speakers and setting up a stage in the backyard of a lavish home in Reseda.
“Bro,” the man said, “I’ve just gotta tell you … I can’t think of one time in the past month when I’ve been on a set and someone didn’t mention your party.
“It’s crazy how quickly it’s grown.”
Indeed, only in its third year, the annual PornCrush Pool Party is creating more buzz and hype than ever. King said he received more than 100 RSVPs within an hour of sending out the invitation in early August.
He predicts the list will have grown to about 450 by the time the gates for Saturday’s festivities open at 3 p.m.
“The number would actually be much larger if I didn’t eliminate the ‘plus-one’ option a few weeks ago,” King said. “I’m having to decline more requests than ever. I’m doing everything I can to keep the crowd manageable to ensure that this is an industry-only event.
“That, more than anything, is the reason people love this party. No civilians, no OnlyFans managers, no dudes with obscure POV sites or guys that spent three weeks as a PA back in 2014. This event is almost solely for performers, along with a select group of high-level directors, agents, and media members.”
For the third straight year, BANG! has signed on as a platinum sponsor for Saturday’s shindig. After hosting the Porn Star games (emceed by Ryan Pownall) the past two years, BANG! is shifting its focus in 2025 to the Wet T-Shirt contest.
Arguably the highlight of the party, this year’s showdown will be hosted by reigning BANG! Babes of the Year Chanel Camryn and Brenna McKenna. The competition will feature 10 participants vying for a top-three finish for which they’ll be awarded gift baskets featuring an assortment of adult toys. The first-place winner will also receive a code for a free test from Talent Testing Services.
“BANG! is excited to support an event that focuses so heavily on creating a sense of community within our industry,” Steve Legos, BANG’s Chief Operating Officer, said. “We fully expect this year’s party to be the best one yet.”
Joining BANG as a platinum sponsor is Hookup Hotshot, one of the fastest-rising studios in the industry. Emceed by contract star Nade Nasty, Hookup Hotshot will sponsor the Best Bikini contest, with the top three finishers receiving gift baskets from adult novelty store Cupid’s Closet. The winner will also be awarded a free test from TTS.
“HookUpHotShot has always been about pushing boundaries and having fun while doing it,” said Bryan Guzzling, the site’s founder. “Sponsoring the PornCrush Pool Party is a no-brainer for us. It is the perfect mix of outrageous energy, industry camaraderie, and a little friendly competition. With Nade Nasty on the scene, we guarantee this year’s event will be one for the books.”
Another prominent supporter for the party will be Ricky’s Room, which is planning to livestream the festivities on KICK. Whether they’re on the red carpet or in the thick of the party crowd, Ricky Johnson and other members of his team will be conducting live interviews throughout the afternoon and evening.
Johnson is also scheduled to host the Twerk Contest. With last year’s winner, Willow Ryder, unable to attend, a new champion will be crowned on Saturday.
Other gold sponsors include Nympho and Mike Adriano, Tad Pole Studios, fast-rising MILF performer Elizabeth Skylar, the popular lube company Sliquid, and TheRub PR with award-winning publicist Erika Icon.
“Whether it's a studio, a company, or an individual, PornCrush only aligns itself with the best of the best—the elite,” King said. “I can genuinely say that the logos on this year’s red carpet backdrop were placed there with pride.
“I hope everyone in attendance finds a way to let these sponsors know how much they are appreciated. If not for them, we’d all be spending our day playing Fortnite or baking a casserole.”
Instead, Saturday’s attendees will be treated to an open bar complete with frozen margaritas, beer, hard alcohol, seltzers, and soft drinks.
Representatives from popular Mexican restaurant Taqueria Tapatio will be cooking made-to-order tacos and quesadillas, with vegan options available. Other snacks such as chips and candy will also be available.
Known for her “glizzy gang” Instagram posts, A-list performer Brenna McKenna will roam the premises with a hot dog and popsicle wagon and plans to host contests that should make for sizzling social media content. Who can gobble down a wiener the fastest? Who looks the sexiest sucking on a bomb pop? We'll soon find out.
A beer pong table will surely attract a crowd, and towels will be provided for anyone who wants to swim or get in the hot tub.
Our friends at Dogtown Enterprises, a Venice, CA-based company, will have staff on hand to roll joints and operate a dabbing station for concentrates.
DJ Sky, who energized the crowd at last year’s party, is back by popular demand.

“This event is very inclusive,” King said. “You could easily see someone who shot her first scene two weeks ago mingling with an AVN Performer of the Year, such as Kira Noir or Anna Claire Clouds. We don’t care about your agency, your kinks, or your pronouns. More than 20 trans performers are scheduled to attend. At the end of the day, the industry is one big family.”
These days, King said, that’s more important to remember than ever.
“The past few weeks—and especially the past few days—have been rough,” King said. “Tragedies that have occurred in the world have created so much angst and tension and bickering, even within the industry.
“Saturday will be a reminder that—no matter where you stand on specific issues—we all share a common ground that is unique and something we should cherish.
“Hopefully that sense of camaraderie and warmth will hover throughout the day and evening, and everyone will leave with a bunch of new friends and a smile on their face.”
