Even for the top performers in the adult industry, building six-digit Twitter and Instagram followings can take years.

Then there’s Rara Knupps, who’d accomplished the feat before she ever removed a stitch of clothing in front of the camera.

Knupps—who shot her first studio scene last month—is already an established social media influencer with more than 222,000 followers on Twitter and 175,000 on Instagram. Knupps has achieved her biggest fame on YouTube, where her channel has 128,000 subscribers.

“I started doing YouTube videos when I was 18,” Knupps tells PornCrush. “I would make videos about crazy times in my life when I was a teenager, and when I was a stripper I told crazy stories about my stripper days.

“It took me a long time to build up my following on YouTube, a lot of work and planning—and really not caring what people think. I got a lot of heat for the things I put on my channel. People will make fun of you. You can’t give an F what people think about you.”

Knupps may have had a handful of haters on social media, but the response to her adult scenes thus far as been nothing but glowing. Whether it was for content trade or a studio shoot, Knupps has already filmed with some of the industry’s biggest names including Angela White, Johnny Sins, Manuel Ferrera, Autumn Falls and others.
