RESEDA, Calif. — Everything you need to know about Saturday’s Third Annual PornCrush Pool Party could be summed up by a quick glance at the red carpet line shortly past 8 p.m.

Standing next to each other, waiting for their turn to be photographed, were the reigning AVN/XBIZ Performer of the Year, Anna Claire Clouds, the vivacious Blake Blossom—one of the most-decorated performers of the 2020s—and Melanie Marie and Della Cate, two of the industry’s most promising up-and-coming stars.

“That was the beauty of the party,” PornCrush owner/editor Austin King said. “For seven hours, hundreds of the world’s top adult stars let loose and mingled in an atmosphere void of uppity vibes, comparisons, and competition.

“They made new friends and reconnected with old ones. They ate and drank and smoked and let their hair down—and their tops, too. The event served as a reminder that, at the end of the day, this industry is one big family.”

More than 400 performers, directors, agents, and media members were on hand for Saturday’s festivities—with some traveling from as far as New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Illinois, and Texas.

Held in one of the industry’s most luxurious shoot houses, guests were treated to an open bar complete with frozen margaritas, hard alcohol, beer, and seltzers. A snack bar featuring chips and assorted candies was replenished throughout the evening. So, too, was one of the party’s most-popular additions—a hot dog roller, complete with a bun warmer, that spun fresh franks for nearly seven hours.

Party-goers raved about the tacos and quesadillas from Taqueria Tapatio, which sent two employees to grill fresh pastor, chicken, beef, and vegetables. There was never a dull moment at a nearby beer pong table, and the Stay Golden photo booth had a new feature that sent pictures and GIFs directly to phones.

For the third straight year, Dogtown Enterprises—a Venice-based cannabis company—rolled joints for guests and operated a dabbing station for concentrates.

“Free food, free drinks, good music, and free weed,” trans star Kasey Kei said. “There is nothing not to like.”

Party host Austin King greeted guests around 4:30 with a quick speech that included shout-outs to the event’s sponsors. BANG!—which has supported the party since its inception in 2023—was joined by HookupHotShot as a premium sponsor.

Gold sponsors included Nympho w/ Mike Adriano, Tad Pole Studios, The Rub PR with Erika Icon, and Ricky’s Room, which live-streamed the party on KICK. Another gold sponsor was surging MILF star Elizabeth Skylar, who backed the event for the second straight year and was the only female performer with her name on the red carpet backdrop.

“Other than tips for the bartenders, there wasn’t a need to bring a single penny to the party,” King said. “Everyone in attendance should make sure to thank Elizabeth and all of the studios whenever they can. Without them, there would be no party.”

King’s speech was followed by the HookUpHotShot’s annual Best Bikini contest, which was judged by the studio’s contract star, Nade Nasty, along with a few other anonymous male attendees.

Ava Amira—one of the top new faces in porn—emerged as the winner. Stella Luxx came in second, with trans star Lola Morena and fan favorite Xxlayna Marie finishing third and fourth, respectively. Cupid’s Closet—the award-winning adult boutique store—provided custom-made gift bags for each girl who placed.

Ricky’s Room sponsored the Twerk Contest, which was emceed by Ricky Johnson and judged by male performers Slim Poke, Chocolate God, and Ray Black. The trio of Erotic Medusa, Lex LaFlame, and Cece Wetdreams teamed up to take first place, with Gypsy Rose taking second and Eva Nyx finishing third.

For the second straight year, the most hotly-contested showdown of the evening came in the BANG! Wet T-Shirt contest. The star-studded affair was emceed by reigning BANG! Babes of the Year Chanel Camryn and Brenna McKenn, and won by the buxom Rissa May. Blake Blossom came in second while Summer Vixen—showing off her new set of ta-tas—tied for third with Lilith Grace.

“I’m glad we let the crowd decide that one,” King said. “I would’ve caved and made it a four-way tie for first. They were all amazing. I couldn’t choose.”

When they weren’t on a stage, sidling up to the bar, playing beer pong, or eating tacos, almost all of Saturday’s guests spent a decent chunk of time posing for pictures with top industry photographers such as Jay David, Rick Garcia, Jeff Koga, Vindictive Images, Ghamal Gaines, Max Brindamour, and others.

Attendees also had a chance to network and socialize with Peter Warren from AVN, Moe Helmy from XBIZ, and Captain Jack from AdultDVDTalk.

Mark Spiegler, Chris Cane (Foxxx Modeling), and John O’Byrne (East Coast Talent) were among the agents in attendance. Directors and videographers such as Ricky Greenwood, Seth Gamble, Siouxsie Q, Michael Vegas, Ray Dark, Francois Clousot, Justin Dietrich, Alfonso (MAD Creativity), Tad Pole, Will Ryder, and others were also there.

As the final guests made their way to their Ubers around 11 p.m., King said he was pleased with the turnout—but already nervous about next year’s event.

“I’ve got to find a way to make it even better,” he said. “But I’m not sure how that’s going to be possible.”
